The HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525f is a monochrome laser multifunction (print, copy, scan, fax, digital send) for departments that need fax and finishing built in. It prints up to 42 ppm on letter paper (40 ppm A4) with a first page in about 8.5 seconds, at up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi with automatic duplexing.
An 8-inch color touchscreen and 800 MHz processor run the digital sending features, a 50-sheet document feeder handles originals, and a built-in stapler finishes sets. Two trays are standard, capacity expands to 1,600 sheets, and HP rates it for 75,000 pages a month. It measures about 20.4 x 21.5 x 22.7 inches.
It uses the HP 55A black cartridge (6,000 pages) or the high-yield HP 55X (12,500 pages), both sold as genuine HP originals at GS Toner, singly or in 2-packs.
