The Brother DR820 drum unit is the genuine Brother imaging drum for Brother's business HL-L5000 / HL-L6000 laser printers and MFC-L5000 / L6000 all-in-ones. It transfers the toner onto every page and lasts far longer than a toner cartridge — about 30,000 pages.

Drum life

Brother rates the DR820 at approximately 30,000 pages. Actual drum life depends on job size, paper type and environment — many short one- or two-page jobs wear the drum faster than long continuous runs.
